If history is anything to go by, the US is headed towards a grim situation where if that form of intimidation doesn’t work, they go to the next thing, which may be to point the gun at the person next to you and pull the trigger. And if that still doesn’t work, they pull the trigger on you. They are closing the door on free and open elections.
