A new electric tricycle aimed squarely at comfort, stability, and accessibility is getting ready to hit the road, and it’s…
That looks fantastic, but oof at the price.
Edit after some thought: Mind you, a reasonably specced out regular bike can easily be that much or more. I bought a Bacchetta Giro in 2006 for around $3000, so maybe it’s not so unreasonable. I was just thinking that I bought a used car for less than that in '23.
My BIL just spend twice on a threewheeled cargobike than what I’ve ever spend on a car. With only that info it sounds insane, but after I tried it I can understand why. The quality is absolutely fantastic, doesn’t wobble at all and it even has Ackerman steering so that it doesn’t scrub when turning sharp. Plus they live in a big city where it sucks to drive.
