I thought this was what they did a few years ago.

Suicide hotlines are very much still a thing, and you typically don’t need any kind of license or degree. I think many are volunteers.

There are also likely outreach programs in your area, if you search for them, and they frequently need volunteers. Helping people to access services is one of the more effective ways to prevent deaths, especially for high-risk populations like: addiction, lgbt, homeless.

If you’re looking to make a (paying) career change for this, there are also entry level jobs in behavioral health at inpatient and outpatient centers.

No worries - you aren’t the first to do that, lol.

I still have a set of encyclopedias on a shelf somewhere. I was thinking of making it into a learning game when the kids are old enough: like (unplugs router) “anyone who can tell me what year [blank] happened gets some candy”

Beautiful.

It has to be upscaling of some sort. That’s not the original background from this interaction either.

Probably, lol. Frakes is mugging the camera like in his Beyond Belief show.

Omg, I had no idea…

All of their “yes” responses together sound like “Yes, we see ya.”

You’ve started a wonderful journey. Have fun!

Damn, that’s better.

If financial security was really the missing piece then there would be data showing people with more money having more children.

And counterintuitively, it seems to even be the reverse. It has to be something else or a combination of things.

He seems confused about it too

Only one way to find out.

A lost wasp made its way into my garage yesterday, and I couldn’t find the fly swatter, so I got creative with a leaf blower and sent him flying back outside.

Lying against the wall with the coins showering over you:

In Phoenix of all places?! That’s just cruel.

Oh my god, you mean I didn’t have to do all this manually? I’ve spent so much troubleshooting time fixing file names.
