Wait really? I used to work at a place where we cleared out HDDs with a degausser. I’m pretty sure that thing wasn’t as strong as a car junkyard magnet.

Yeah I overestimated a teeny tiny bit the number of places in the solar system that have liquid water on the actual surface. My bad.
Ahh I didn’t realize, I thought it was only exposed solid surface. Does that mean every other solar system body with water doesn’t have separate islands/continents? Because if no, then earth should be depicted as one solid shape without the divisions as well. I get it though, it’s for scale.
Why does earth include the oceans though?
scytale@piefed.zipto Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL there is a law called Marchetti's Constant. Humans only tolerate commutes of less than ~1 hour. Housing outside that limit will fail.English7·7 days agoI spent the first 10 years of my working life in commuting traffic hell, where a 26km drive took 2 hours in a superdense megacity. I bought a condo 1km away from work when I could finally afford it. WFH, which I have been doing the past 8 years or so has done wonders for my sanity. And even then, I’m now in a place where an 18 mile drive to the office takes 30 mins in regular traffic.

I feel like the heat helps leech them into the rest of the items in there. To avoid handwashing, I’ve slowly replaced plastic containers with glass ones.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a plastic air fryer. That’s terrible if there is one though.
There are portable bidets that are basically water containers with squirt nozzles. If not on hand, you can always use an empty water bottle. But yes, a proper bidet is still king.
