Come on Bessent, you still need to tell Secretary Kegsbreath to deploy the USS Lincoln against bond prices, before you talk about war with us.

I’m not entirely certain. What I have tried is ordering custom massive hot balls of plasma in space for everyone, but I’ve learned the waitlist is a few billion years long.

How about… Copilot Microsoft Copilot Office365 Copilot Outlook (new) (Copilot web)?
1 person using this software will count as 4 Copilot users in investor metrics, of course.

If Canada doesn’t shape up its act and capitulate everything, Trump is going to order Lake Erie be called Lake America 2. The acronym then becomes HAMAS

Uhhh, it’s what I have in my virtual drawer.

They held the convention in the province with the highest concentration of people who can’t read the room.
To me, Costco seems better than Roblaws (NF, Atlantic, Superstore, SDG), a bit better than Empire (Sobeys, Safeway Canada, Freshco, Farmboy etc.) and about equal to Pattison and Metro. They treat their workers well, have not dropped people-focused diversity initiatives just because political winds have changed, and have sued the Trump admin for tariff refunds. I do shop local fruit and veg markets, but I’m not sure what signals we intend to send from a boycott of Costco.

Maybe the problem was with the wording all along. Republicans might be able to get behind an American Prosperity Fee (on wealth).
If it worked like this bozo is describing here, Zachary is now a deadname as I have signed an executive order declaring “Dipshit Tisdale” as this guy’s new name.

LiveThreadBot@sopuli.xyz did provide live scores for me during the FIFA World Cup. I did try to come out and comment on a couple threads. So a score of 1.1 out of 2 on this criteria?

I think that’s good, Costco is responding positively to workers’ pressure and threat of using their leverage. Where most companies respond with union-busting sticks, Costco uses a carrot.
I use Threadiverse to mean Lemmy Piefed Kbin and similar part of the Fediverse, nothing to do with Meta. I selected this terminology to differentiate it from microblogging platforms like Mastodon, though they are absolutely welcome to participate by posting to Lemmy and Piefed communities. With character limits and other structural design differences I suppose it is just a harder challenge. If you have suggestions for another name to describe topic-based online socializing I’m all ears.
Through the 10th proposed category, I’m hoping to make people aware of that connection to the wider Fediverse with links to Masto, PeerTube etc.
Threadtember is a neat name, I’ll see what catches on. Good luck with the move (and the challenge).
My first draft of the 10 categories:
Feedback welcome.
Update: Reception seems good. I’ll post something shortly here and on my home instance.

Chapmans has consistently done the right thing. They gave their workers a pandemic pay increase then made it permanent.
I don’t mind occasionally shilling for a corp if they treat both customers and the people that make the company what it is right, in tangible and concrete ways.

In response, the City of Toronto can propose renaming the Green Lane Landfill to the Donald J. Trump Memorial Landfill, or Donald Dump for short.

A Buc-ee’s gas station is like a Disneyland version of a truck stop. Has a big footprint like one, but actual commercial drivers aren’t able to stop there.
You can ask the account @remindme@mstdn.social. not sure if it can handle a Linux epoch time that far out in the future.
