I can’t believe he has to wait until October for a determination on this. The facts of the case are clear. If nothing else I hope he sues the police department that put him on a watchlist for terrorism.

If he wins this case that would be my first move. The only reason he was harassed like this was because he voiced a negative opinion about a city project.

He was put on a terrorist watchlist because he didnt want his tax dollars funding a cop city. Thats reason enough for the judge to throw this out.

That’s honestly a curiosity in this for me. You dont have to unlock your phone for them but the fact that he was made to even with a duress pass makes me think that this was more than a standard stop.

I grabbed a used Samsung dumb tv off fb market place but I haven’t decided how im going to configure a streaming device to it. All the streaming sticks do the same thing. Building my own sounds like a pain.

I have a little server but I want a remote and a basically have to make my own box to be able to cut out these 3rd party spies.

It was good when it was new and growing and adding to innovation. Once the bean counters figured out the grey beards’ magic it got corrupted.

yeah I’m pretty sure the long game is only half AI. AI is the sales pitch. Taking over the internet and home computing is the long game.

I’m not sure if it’s fully a bubble, or if the bubble is partly being used as a smoke screen to hide the upfront cost of redesigning computing infrastructure.

A lot of the time, I think AI is just the branding layer. The real goal is top-to-bottom SaaS.

Like, they’re letting these AI companies hold the bag for building datacenters which will then get scooped by various companies like microsoft and google to offer virtualized home computing through a client.
