I don’t get it. The tariffs have had some financial affect. Spending on the military and public works projects don’t make us money. They are giving tax breaks and yet we seem to be doing well financially. I’m not complaining, I just don’t get the math.

The problem is that turning heat to electricity using thermoelectric generators is hugely ineffecient. And there wouldn’t be enough heat produced to create steam for steam turbines.
