Technically it is with fiber, what operator offers you is another story. I’m glad for you, I wish I had the same option. If you don’t mind, what country and price?

Symmetric gigabit is this a thing, tho? Usually consumer level broadband can be huge download, but meekly upload no matter the tech used because they’d like to sell you more expensive options. That said I’d benefit greatly with it. And agree with you (and partially OP) that it’s not for everybody. But those of us who need it, it’d be awesome.

With MAGA around one never knows. /s

That happens? Even with better quality PSUs? That’s a really stupid. But still, the proposed solution has the same problem, doesn’t it? In both cases they can stick with same pinout or not. 🤷

Which is pretty much useless. Just go with a detachable cables one, reattaching cables should be easy enough to a new unit in case of replacement. No need to retire anything in both cases 🤷

I’m eyeing peertube, but the problem there is lack of monetization option. Which is a problem with all alternatives in a way or another.

The big parts are philosophy and libraries, learning a language is relatively easy.

Missed Iran there 🙃

I think the problem is that Android doesn’t immediately upload the changes since Keepass (which one are you using?) doesn’t poll all the time - assuming you opened your .kdbx through “Nextcloud” option. You can always use “Synchronize database…” option of Keepass2Android that will upload or download everything. And even if you have conflicts, they are usually easily solved by merging changes. At least that’s my experience.

It works for me just fine with KeePass2Android, what exactly is your problem?

Add it to the long list of his scams. It seems like AI in general sucked I from human beings and substituted it with G … greed. 🤷

And there are hackers, too. And foreign security agencies.

Aren’t Orange’s borders impenetrable? Where is ICE? 🙃

There are other single biggest mistakes like pushing rest of the world to get rid of US software and possibly towards open source.

That’s detailed! That’s good and there are also Chinese ramping up memory production (I wish EU did something as well), but sadly it’ll still take at least a year if not more. The interesting situation would arise if AI bubble bursts in a year leaving us with huge memory surplus. One can hope, right.

First, new memory fabs start coming online in 2027, and there are more being constructed that will be coming online in subsequent years.
Where is this optimism coming from? China? Korea?

Basically we will be buying computer parts in specific decades, like this decade is bad for anything memory, last was bad for anything GPU. Next will be bad for, I don’t know, screens or mobos. And so on.
That’s as it should be. Lucky you. I’m with A1 (Vodaphone, 2nd biggest Slovene operator) which offers 1000/100 by default without an option to upgrade. Perhaps one can get faster speeds, but then it should get it as company at company price. The biggest one (just checked) offers 1000/300 with an option to upgrade. Perhaps I should check it out…
