I have a coworker who choose to live with his parents to help them as they get older and save on rent and I don’t think any less of him. A lot of poeple could never live with thier parents as adults for many reasons, so they may be reacting to their idea of living with family.

I am over 40, and I still feel like I am winging it. As long as I can pretend to be an adult at work, and I can pay my bills, I don’t care. It’s coloring books and video games for me!

Luckily it seems my neighbors can’t afford either fireworks or bullets, as last night was blessedly quiet. Hoping tonight stays the same as I don’t need someone setting the woods on fire. We’ve been in a drought for months.

So when poeple were working from home after covid we HAD to get them back in the office because bussiness was being hurt by office workers not spending their lunch money, but when it’s the president’s Not So Secret police it’s totally fine. Got it.

What’s funny to me is even if your predictions have been proven right most of the time, no one will believe you. Which to me is an even sadder lack of pattern recognition.

I read this article and immediately went to thank my husband for not drugging, raping and filming me. He was like uh, you’re welcome? Figured not drugging your loved ones was one of those unwritten rules, but I guess not.

My toaster oven just died. It was so old all the numbers rubbed off and we just ran it off vibes. Guests were like, how long to make toast? And I just told them turn it till it feels right. I’m going to miss that toaster oven, it was the best.

I would say under ten years if we are talking about staying in “life as we know it.” Global food supplies are at risk. We are going to see mass die offs in large portions of the ocean. AMOC and the Jet stream will continue to wobble around causing mayhem. Coastale areas will become eroded and huge portions of the infrastructure will become unfixable as the disasters come too frequently for any real, long term repairs to remain.

Think about that term, tipping piont. Tipping does not imply a gentle decent.
