Last I heard, Utah was the only US state that allows for this. I’ve got a perfect south facing side of the house that I could easily put some panels just outside the windows to help offset my power bill that I’d love to use.

Used this same exact setup for years and only in the last few months moved to a SLZB-06 POE version paired with Z2M and love it.

I just got rid of my Pixel 6a because it had one of the bad batteries. Tip to anyone taking advantage of the trade in rebate, DO NOT get the $150 Google Store credit and be like me thinking you can use it on the Google Fi Store to purchase a new Pixel. The $150 store credit is only towards the purchase of a Pixel phone via the Google Store. Take the $100 cash rebate option instead because it tells you once you choose either option, you cannot change it.

My hope was to get the Pixel 9a on my account for $249 (activation discount) on my account and then use the $150 store credit… nope.

Until the AI companies find a way around it. Love the idea so hopefully it causes at least 3 days of struggle for the AI crawlers.

I have not looked for stats but I’d love to see what the actual usage of the Microsoft Store is. I know I have never found a use for it and went as far as disabling the MS Store via GPO because I got tired of seeing it and for learning experience.

I love Home Assistant and have been using it for years. It just keeps getting better and better over time! With so many new features added all the time I have just started blowing away my entire VM of it and recreating from scratch to see what’s new. It’s a good problem to have!

Using the litter aspects of cigarettes as a reason to curb smoking has always been a tough one for me. Say someone quits smoking and takes up vaping. Now we have introduced plastic waste & to an extent e-waste in the form of batteries in the disposable vapes.

I don’t have an answer to it but I have at least thought about how there is no 100% environmentally friendly alternative outside of smoking straight tobacco leaf in rolling papers.

I do not use a VPN provider but damn, that’s cool as hell. Now how do I self host it? :D
